Unique Properties worked with Mile High Montessori during the 2008-2009 holiday season. Mile High Montessori is Denver’s oldest and largest provider of subsidized quality early childhood care and education – serving thousands of Denver’s vulnerable children every year since 1970. Most of these children come from “very low” income families and are truly in need of the simple basics. Unique Properties sponsored 4 classrooms consisting of 17 students (preschoolers) and 2 teachers each. Through donations, Unique Properties goal was for each child and teacher to receive one gift from their “wish list”. Unique Properties purchased and personally delivered the gifts and a holiday lunch to each of the kids in December.
