  I grew up in Denver, and for over 20 years I have helped businesses here acquire industrial facilities, office space, and development sites. Others I have helped to find tenants or buyers for their properties. In all, I have leased or sold over 250 million dollars worth of buildings and land for my clients. And always I have tried to serve their best interests. I think I have succeeded in that, as many of them have come back to me time and again for help with their real estate needs.

Having a diverse background has been invaluable to me in connecting with my clients, both personally and professionally. With that connection I have been able to help them achieve their goals, and create lasting relationships. I like to know how things work, so in college I studied everything I could, majoring in economics, with heavy doses of finance and accounting, literature, history, languages and philosophy. I earned my law degree with honors from UCLA. After traveling through Europe and Mexico (I speak Spanish fluently) I returned to Denver to practice law, specializing in real estate. When I entered this industry I worked with two of the world’s leading commercial real estate services firms, representing many large corporations and institutional owners. That was great experience, but what I found more satisfying was helping local companies grow their businesses. The confidence and daring that the owners of these companies demonstrated was inspirational, and their confidence in me was gratifying. Every client is valued, but seeing the difference that my efforts mean for the little guy is what keeps me coming back.

Teaming up with Unique Properties gives me the opportunity to continue working with a broad range of people and companies, but in a more entrepreneurial environment. Here, in a boutique setting, we have expertise in every commercial property type, just as in the “big houses”. But the real-world experience and savvy of our people exceeds that at any other firm, and our insight as seasoned property owners is a tremendous resource for me, and a very “un-big house” advantage for our customers.
